John Mayer, on his "Battle Studies" Tour, performs live at the Van Andel Arena with special guest, Michael Franti & Spearhead. This talented singer-songwriter and accomplished guitarist has been awarded four GRAMMY’s; these include Best Pop Vocal Album in 2007, Song of the Year in 2005, and two for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance in 2002 and 2007. He has been influenced by the likes of Jimi Hendrix and blues artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, and BB King. Michael Franti & Spearhead will open the show.
